HIV related policy changes at Ministry of Defence

The MoD has announced a number of key policy changes to make it easier for people with HIV to serve in the Armed Forces. From Spring 2022, living with HIV will no longer be a barrier to entry for candidates wishing to join the armed forces and those taking PrEP medication to prevent HIV infection can join the forces with immediate effect. HIV charities have welcomed these changes and the clear stigma-busting message it sends.
