UK Public Health Network Mentoring Scheme
The UK Public Health Network is piloting a mentoring scheme for their member and observer organisations. The pilot is open to all staff, at all levels, working in their member and observer organisations. The pilot will run for six months (April – October 2021).
The purpose of the scheme is to facilitate personal career development, connect the public health community across the UK and build a wider culture of knowledge sharing across public health organisations.
They are particularly looking for mentors to take part as there has already been high interest from people who wish to be mentees. The time commitment for mentors is minimal – there is a 90 minute training session with a professional trainer, and then monthly meetings are suggested with mentees but this will be for the pairing to decide.
