According to the Welsh Government 31% of children in families in Wales were living in relative poverty between 2017-2020. Growing up in poverty affects children’s well-being, their early year’s development, physical & mental health, educational achievement & future life chances. Recognising & understanding the effects of poverty on children & families is vital to improving their outcomes.

This course is for anyone from all sectors & all organisations keen to explore how their work can support & raise awareness of poverty & its impact on children & young people.
