A participatory systems mapping approach to exploring education achievement in Wales – a reflection on theory and practice
This webinar gave an overview of the Wider Determinants of Health Unit’s work in relation to education as a determinant of health and focussed on using a participatory systems mapping approach to understanding the complex pathways which influence educational achievement outcomes in Wales. The webinar described the approach, gave an overview of the map and how we have used it and discussed the learning from using this approach as a tool for working with others to understanding and managing complex public health issues.
This might be of interest to people working with education or thinking of developing a systems map in the future.
