About this event

Individuals seeking asylum and refugees are a vulnerable group who are at greater risk of poor health, are likely to have complex needs and are more likely to have experienced trauma and / or violence in their lives. However, this group encounter avoidable and unfair obstacles in obtaining healthcare and support. This webinar will provide an overview of the health and wellbeing needs of asylum seekers & refugees. Bringing speakers together to share insight and best practice on approaches to addressing the needs of asylum seeker & refugees through accessible and inclusive health care services including primary care.
