Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) – Information for health professionals

There are cases of measles in Wales. Public Health Wales are asking for everyone to be aware of the signs and symptoms of measles and to know how to respond if measles is suspected. Measles is highly contagious and can be serious. Two doses of the MMR vaccine are over 95% effective at preventing measles.

Public Health Wales have developed posters, leaflets and other resources to support healthcare professionals and the public. Key messages and a summary of resources can be found in our MMR toolkit for primary care
