Public Health Wales has a new strategic priority: tackling the public health effects of climate change, in recognition of the climate emergency being the greatest health threat facing humanity. This webinar will introduce a free online resource, produced by the Health and Sustainability Hub, that helps individuals and teams to take action to reduce their environmental impact.
Bethan Harvey from Cynnal Cymru will explain how to use the free Healthy Environment online workshop which is based on four themes – decarbonisation, biodiversity, zero waste and climate change. The workshop encourages individuals and teams to develop an action plan to reduce their negative impacts and increase their positive impacts on the environment, and contribute to any existing environmental management systems within their organisation.
The webinar will also highlight free training opportunities available on climate change to help you understand what climate change means to your role, and how to take action.
